  • Oversee Viant's consolidated 3-statement operating model, ensuring projections, actualized results, and key assumptions are accurate and clearly understood by Finance leadership
  • Manage and develop the Senior Manager, Strategic Finance, including guiding and reviewing model updates, forecast analyses, Board support, and ad hoc financial models
  • Partner with Corporate Finance and Investor Relations on the quarterly earnings process by providing forecast perspectives, guidance support, and financial analysis that helps explain business performance and key drivers
  • Support preparation of Board and Audit Committee materials by developing financial projections, validating key assumptions, and helping convert complex analyses into concise executive-level narratives
  • Provide business analysis, pro forma modeling, and integration planning for M&A and strategic investments in partnership with Corporate Development, Corporate Finance, and other functional leaders
  • Build and improve Strategic Finance analyses and planning workflows, with a focus on forecast integrity, budget discipline, clear documentation, reviewability, and efficiency
GREAT TO HAVE
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in strategic finance, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or a high-growth public company; AdTech, SaaS, digital media, or technology experience a plus
  • Experience leading or materially owning complex 3-statement financial models, long-range plans, annual budgets, and executive-level forecasting processes
  • Prior people management experience, with the ability to set direction, review detailed analytical work, develop talent, and hold the team accountable to high-quality outputs and deadlines
  • Strong understanding of accounting concepts and how income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, revenue, capitalization, and cost classification decisions affect forecasts and business analysis
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills required; strong PowerPoint and executive communication skills expected
  • Strong analytical judgment, attention to detail, and executive communication skills, with the ability to identify key business drivers and translate complex analysis into clear narratives for senior leadership, Board, investor, and cross-functional audiences
