The ideal candidate combines executive-level customer leadership, strong commercial and P&L management experience, and the ability to lead complex, infrastructure-driven programs for some of the company's largest and most visible customers.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio and Financial Leadership

  • Own full P&L accountability for assigned large-load customer portfolios, including revenue, costs, capital deployment, profitability, and long-term value creation.

  • Drive financial performance by optimizing contract economics, execution efficiency, and customer outcomes.

  • Evaluate and make strategic tradeoff decisions involving cost, schedule, scope, and risk to protect portfolio value.

  • Identify opportunities for contract optimization, customer growth, load expansion, and incremental revenue generation.

Customer Leadership

  • Serve as the primary executive contact for assigned customers throughout the entire contract lifecycle.

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication, issue resolution, and expectation management.

  • Lead regular business reviews, performance discussions, and strategic planning sessions with customer stakeholders.

  • Ensure customer commitments are met while maintaining alignment with business and operational objectives.

Contract and Commercial Management

  • Support contract negotiations, amendments, renewals, and commercial modifications to ensure alignment with operational capabilities and financial goals.

  • Monitor contract performance and compliance with regulatory, contractual, and governance requirements.

  • Manage risks and escalations that may impact customer commitments, financial performance, or execution success.

Cross-Functional Execution Leadership

  • Lead the end-to-end execution of customer commitments across construction, engineering, operations, finance, billing, and support functions.

  • Act as the decision-maker and escalation point for resolving cross-functional conflicts and competing priorities.

  • Ensure alignment between customer requirements, infrastructure readiness, operational capabilities, and commercial objectives.

  • Drive accountability for performance, milestones, and execution outcomes across functional teams.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and develop a team of business analysts, project managers, and customer origination professionals.

  • Foster collaboration across a matrixed organization and leverage subject matter expertise from across the enterprise.

  • Create a culture of accountability, customer focus, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in utility, energy, industrial, infrastructure, commercial operations, portfolio management, account management, or related leadership roles.

  • Demonstrated success leading customer portfolios, programs, or contracts with direct responsibility for financial and operational performance.

  • Experience owning or influencing P&L outcomes, business case economics, budgeting, profitability, and capital investment decisions.

  • Strong understanding of utility contracts, large-load customer requirements, infrastructure delivery, and regulatory considerations.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence outcomes in complex, matrixed environments.

  • Strong customer-facing leadership experience managing senior-level stakeholder relationships.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to balance competing priorities while managing risk, customer commitments, and business objectives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience serving as a portfolio, program, business unit, or customer delivery leader with accountability across commercial, operational, financial, and customer functions.
