Full Job Description
OCI Strategic Customers Engineering manages some of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure's most important and fastest-growing customer relationships. The organization partners directly with customers building at significant scale on OCI, including customers deploying highly demanding AI, GPU, compute, storage, and networking workloads. We are seeking a Director to lead a high-performing team responsible for delivering complex, cross-functional infrastructure programs for strategic customers. This leader will partner closely with senior customer executives and OCI engineering, product, operations, support, and capacity teams to ensure customer success, drive execution clarity, and improve delivery predictability. Responsibilities The ideal candidate is a customer-focused, operationally rigorous leader who can operate at executive altitude while staying close to execution details. They bring strong ownership, sound judgment, and the ability to build trust across customers and internal teams. They are comfortable working in fast-moving environments where infrastructure delivery, customer outcomes, and operational excellence must come together. 30 Lead a team focused on the successful delivery, operation, and scaling of OCI programs for strategic customers. 30 Partner with customer executives and OCI engineering, product, operations, support, and capacity teams to drive alignment, execution, and measurable outcomes. 30 Own cross-functional program delivery for large-scale GPU deployments, from dock-to-live execution through operational readiness, customer launch, migration, and major service expansion. 30 Establish operating rhythms, execution frameworks, KPIs, and review mechanisms that improve predictability, transparency, and accountability across strategic customer programs. 30 Identify delivery risks, operational gaps, reliability concerns, and customer-impacting blockers early; drive mitigation plans through resolution. 30 Support incident readiness, escalation management, post-incident follow-up, and corrective-action tracking for strategic customer environments. 30 Build trusted relationships with senior customer stakeholders and internal OCI leaders, translating complex technical and operational requirements into clear plans and milestones. 30 Mentor and develop program managers and cross-functional leaders, raising the bar for execution quality, operational discipline, and customer-focused delivery. Preferred Qualifications 30 Experience leading program management, infrastructure delivery, or customer engineering teams at scale. 30 Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, data center operations, GPU infrastructure, networking, compute, storage, and operational readiness. 30 Demonstrated success driving complex cross-functional programs across engineering, product, operations, support, and customer-facing teams. 30 Experience working directly with senior customer stakeholders and executive leadership. 30 Strong communication, presentation, relationship-building, and escalation-management skills. 30 Ability to bring clarity to ambiguous situations, drive alignment across competing priorities, and maintain momentum in high-pressure environments. 30 Prior people management experience, including coaching, mentoring, and developing senior program leaders. Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. Oracle US offers a comprehensive benefits package which includes the following: 1. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation. 9. 11 paid holidays 10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours. 11. Paid parental leave 12.
