Responsibilities

  • Manage the onboarding and training processes for the sales team.

Full Job Description
Remote Position

Base Salary - $115,00 - $135,000 per year, depending on experience

Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategy

  • Develop strategy to optimize the full sales cycle through prospecting, nurture, offer, close, onboarding, and repeat and referral business to exceed sales and revenue targets
  • Ensure team initiatives align with company objectives and key results
  • Responsible for STEM sales territory definition and assignment
  • Partner closely with Operations to optimize pipeline key performance indicators (KPIs) and guarantee smooth execution of STEM field trips
  • Partner closely with Marketing to inform targeting and messaging strategies for ideal customer persona (ICP) demand generation
  • Build and scale indirect/partnership sales function


Targets and Forecasting

  • Collaborate with Sales Operations to construct sales and revenue forecasts
  • Work closely with Finance to set sales and revenue targets


Management and Training

  • Build and manage sales and post sales onboarding team
  • Oversee sales training and development


Market Research/Program Design

  • Oversee ICP development
  • Partner closely with STEM Program Manager to apply sales insights to program design
  • Represent iFLY STEM field trip programs at industry and trade events
  • Stay abreast of market and competitor trends and adjust strategy as necessary


Reporting and KPIs

  • Collaborate with Sales Operations to define and report on pipeline KPIs
  • Work closely with BI and Finance to report progress on sales and revenue targets


Work Experience and Requirements:

  • Proven sales leadership experiencing driving revenue growth and leading teams at a national or multi-region scale
  • 8-10+ years of experience in education, edtech, or experiential sales with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage and persuade potential clients.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting environment
  • Proficiency in CRM software (Hubspot experience a plus) and Microsoft Office Suite.
