SUMMARY OVERVIEW

The Director of Station Operations is responsible for overseeing all aspects of station operations, including passenger services, baggage handling, ground support, and fueling operations where applicable. This leadership role ensures safe, compliant, and efficient airport operations while driving financial performance, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction. The Director partners with airline customers, airport authorities, regulatory agencies, and internal departments to achieve operational goals and uphold PrimeFlight's safety and service standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Oversee all aspects of station operations including passenger services, baggage handling, ground support, and fueling in applicable locations
      • Develop and implement operational strategies to ensure efficient and safe airport station functioning
      • Provide leadership and direction to a diverse team of operational managers and frontline staff, establishing clear goals and performance expectations
      • Ensure compliance with all FAA, TSA, DOT, airport authority, and company regulations and safety standards
      • Actively promote and support the company's Safety Management System (SMS) initiatives and safety culture
      • Coordinate with airline partners, government agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations
      • Monitor operational processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and service quality
      • Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation for station operations
      • Analyze operational and financial reports to track KPIs, identify trends, and implement corrective actions as needed
      • Lead emergency response and crisis management efforts during operational disruptions
      • Implement training programs to enhance employee skills, safety awareness, and service performance
      • Foster a customer-focused culture to ensure a positive passenger experience
      • Collaborate with other departments to optimize cross-functional workflows and communication
      • Lead strategic planning efforts to support station growth and operational scalability
      • Ensure maintenance and proper upkeep of airport facilities, equipment, and assets
      • Perform any additional duties as assigned by management


QUALIFICATIONS

      • 18 years of age or older
      • Eligible to work in the United States
      • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, including documents
      • Must have reliable transportation
      • Strong leadership and team management experience in airport or aviation operations
      • Ability to apply logic and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
      • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Email
      • Demonstrated competencies in Problem-Solving, Customer Service, Interpersonal Communication, and Oral Communication
      • Ability to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays within a 24/7 operation as required
