About the Role

As the Director Software Engineering you will lead and inspire engineering organizations shaping technical strategy and driving innovation at scale. Your role is crucial in defining and executing technical vision while fostering a culture of engineering excellence. You will establish and scale engineering practices that enable sustainable growth while ensuring alignment between technical initiatives and business objectives.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Strategic thinking and ability to translate business requirements into technical strategies
  • Track record of successfully navigating complex technical landscapes and driving innovation


Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
  • 10+ years of software engineering experience
  • 8+ years of engineering leadership experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of front-end and back-end technologies cloud platforms and DevOps practices
  • Experience in overseeing development across multiple technology stacks and frameworks
  • Proven track record in developing technical roadmaps including work estimation and large-scale system modernization

Physical Requirements:
  • Work is performed indoors with potential for exposure to safety and health hazards related to office work. Could periodically travel to other office and operational sites. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
