Summary

Lead the commercial acquisition of strategic AI data centre sites from initial engagement through execution and closing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead negotiations of LOIs, purchase agreements, leases, options, and related commercial agreements.
  • Develop acquisition strategies and transaction structures.
  • Manage legal, commercial, and contractual negotiations.
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders and external advisors throughout the acquisition process.
  • Manage transaction timelines and support internal investment approvals.
  • Identify and mitigate commercial risks throughout the acquisition process.
  • Transition completed acquisitions to the Construction team.


Critical Qualifications

  • 10+ years in commercial real estate acquisitions, infrastructure transactions, or corporate development.
  • Experience negotiating complex land acquisitions and development agreements.
  • Strong understanding of commercial contracts, due diligence, and transaction execution.
  • Familiarity with AI data centre development, utility infrastructure, and development risk.
  • Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent transactions in a fast-paced environment.
