About the roleAs our Director, Search Marketing, Americas, you'll lead a search marketing team responsible for driving commercial performance across multiple retailer platforms and geographies. You'll manage a multi-million-dollar search investment, guide strategy across paid and organic search, and help define the future direction of eCommerce marketing in the Americas. Reporting to the VP, Head of Americas B2B eCommerce, you'll work across marketing, sales, operations, finance, and platform partners to deliver strong business outcomes while building capabilities for the next generation of online shopping.
Required Qualifications- Leadership proficiency in search marketing programs across platforms such as Amazon, Criteo, Google, and emerging search channels.
- Demonstrated experience in having managed high-performing teams and external partner relationships.
- Executed hands-on keys search advertising campaigns within retailer eCommerce environments or media agencies.
- Directed marketing investment planning, forecasting, and budget management across multiple channels and geographies.
- Built search strategies that delivered measurable growth through paid and organic search programs.
- Delivered commercial results through retailer media platforms and lower-funnel acquisition initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications- Applied retail search and SEO practices, including generative and agentic search optimization approaches.
- Used analytical tools such as Excel, SQL, R, or Python to evaluate marketing performance.
- Worked within a consumer packaged goods brand, media agency, or retailer advertising organization.
- Partnered directly with platforms such as Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, Roundel, Google, Criteo, or similar organizations.
What you'll build- Lead a team of six specialists across Boston and Toronto responsible for paid and organic search execution.
- Shape the Americas search marketing strategy across retailer platforms and online marketplaces.
- Drive performance across retail media networks while maintaining strong commercial outcomes.
- Build trusted partnerships with eCommerce leaders, commercial stakeholders, and media teams.
- Develop test-and-learn roadmaps focused on retailer innovation opportunities.
- Help the organization prepare for AI-powered and agentic shopping experiences.

What success looks likeSuccess means helping the team navigate major shifts in search technology while continuing to deliver strong commercial results. You'll work closely with direct reports, eCommerce leaders, account teams, media partners, and leadership stakeholders across the Americas. Over time, you'll help ensure the LEGO Group remains visible, relevant, and effective across retailer search environments while guiding the team into the future of agentic search optimization.

CompensationThe salary for this position has a range of $169,031.00 - $253,547.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
