Full Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Lead as an Enterprise Architect and technical expert within the SAP S/4HANA platform, specializing in Power and Utilities clients, utilizing deep knowledge of SAP technology, functionalities, and their integration with non-SAP systems.
• Demonstrate deep operational knowledge of how core SAP systems operate, integrate, and scale alongside third-party applications, legacy software, and modern cloud platforms within complex utility enterprise environments.
• Design and govern hybrid landscapes that define clean-core principles, ensuring seamless data flow and process orchestration between SAP and non-SAP solutions (e.g., GIS, CRM, MDM, Asset Accounting, and smart grid systems).
• Drive strategic sales opportunities and oversee the successful delivery of complex integration projects, with a focus on showcasing the end-to-end capabilities of SAP and non-SAP enterprise solutions within the utilities sector.
• Collaborate in the creation and enhancement of Intellectual Property (IP) within KPMG's Global SAP Community, focusing on pioneering innovations like SAP AI, SAP Build, and open-integration frameworks.
• Provide expert guidance in support of the "Powered-KPMG tools and Accelerators assets", SAP Build, and SAP Alliances program. Identify areas for enhancement and develop new capabilities within the SAP S/4HANA Utilities domain.
• Contribute to the development, refinement, and promotion of KPMG methodologies and tools, ensuring their widespread usage and effectiveness throughout the organization.
• Partner with KPMG Leadership to design and present the benefits of hybrid SAP and third-party AI/Build solutions to senior management at client organizations. Facilitate the development and support of solutions for local sales opportunities.
• Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment.
Qualifications:
• Minimum ten years of recent SAP ERP expertise, with significant experience as a Platform Architect specializing in hybrid architecture; extensive end-to-end project experience with SAP S/4HANA and its integration with non-SAP enterprise software is required.
• Deep domain expertise in the Power and Utilities sector, specifically requiring advanced architectural knowledge of SAP IS-U.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Possess relevant certifications or practical experience with the SAP AI solution portfolio, SAP Build, or equivalent non-SAP integration and cloud platforms specifically within the utilities domain.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of Enterprise Architecture frameworks and Functional Design principles, with a specialization in SAP S/4HANA Utilities and ecosystem-wide connectivity.
• Proven track record in driving internal transformation initiatives and effectively influencing cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex, hybrid technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Willingness to travel as required to meet client and project needs.
