Full Job Description

 The Director of Premium Sales for the LA28 Olympic Games will be responsible for helping to develop and execute a strategic sales plan to maximize revenue from premium ticket sales, hospitality packages, and premium experiences. This role requires a dynamic leader with extensive experience in sports sales, exceptional networking abilities, and a proven track record in achieving ambitious sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies for premium tickets, hospitality packages, and premium experiences.

  • Collaborate with the VP of sales/service, Dir of Service, marketing and events teams to align sales initiatives with promotional campaigns.

Sales Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed sales targets.

  • Set clear performance goals and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals, corporate clients, and key stakeholders.

  • Identify and engage potential clients through networking, industry events, and targeted outreach.

Sales Generation:

  • Actively sell premium tickets, hospitality suites, and premium experiences to high-net-worth individuals, corporate clients, and key stakeholders.

  • Achieve and exceed individual sales targets through effective sales strategies and techniques

  • Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies to ensure targets are met.

Market Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities for growth.

  • Use data-driven insights to inform sales strategies and decision-making.

Contract Negotiation:

  • Negotiate and finalize contracts with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.

  • Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure compliance and profitability.

Event Coordination:

  • Work closely with event organizers to ensure premium sales align with event logistics and customer experience.

  • Provide input on the design and delivery of hospitality and premium experiences.

Reporting and Analytics:

  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market trends for senior management.

  • Utilize CRM systems to track sales activities and client interactions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the sports or entertainment industry.

  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets for premium products or services.

  • Strong network of contacts within the sports, entertainment, and corporate sectors.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Willingness to travel as required.

Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. Hiring Rate Minimum:

$69,694 annually(minimum will not fall below the applicable State/local minimum salary thresholds)

Hiring Rate Maximum:

$92,925 annually
