Director S/4 Business Workstream Leader - Lifecycle Management here at Honeywell, you will serve as the senior business leader for transforming engineering and lifecycle management capabilities within our SAP S/4 program. This role is critical to defining how product, asset, and sustainment processes are standardized across the enterprise while enabling an integrated digital thread spanning engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, service, and aftermarket operations.
The Director S/4 Business Workstream Leader serves as the business owner for lifecycle management solutions across the end-to-end value stream, defining transformation priorities, representing business needs, and driving alignment between engineering, operations, and design teams during the SAP S/4 program. This leader will help shape future-state processes for product lifecycle, engineering change, configuration control, service lifecycle management, repair and overhaul, and enterprise asset visibility.
Your expertise will extend to guiding cross-functional teams through the full transformation life cycle, from current-state assessment and process design through deployment, adoption, and continuous improvement. You will partner closely with engineering, ISC, manufacturing, quality, aftermarket, and IT stakeholders to define requirements, evaluate tradeoffs, and ensure scalable solutions that improve traceability, compliance, and operational performance. Beyond program execution, you will champion fit-to-standard principles, data integrity, governance, and process harmonization while enabling capabilities such as lifecycle visibility, engineering-to-service integration, product and asset data consistency, and resilient support for complex aerospace operations. You will identify priorities, manage dependencies and risks, and provide senior leadership with clear insights on readiness, decisions, and value realization across the engineering and lifecycle management landscape.
ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Contribute Lead business decisions across engineering and lifecycle management by providing insight into tradeoffs, risks, and target outcomes for impacted process areas.
- Define the level of process standardization, governance, and change required to enable scalable engineering and lifecycle management capabilities.
- Identify core business requirements and capabilities across product lifecycle, engineering change, configuration control, asset management, and compliance frameworks.
- Partner with IT, engineering leaders, and industry application consultants to define process scope, solution boundaries, and transformation ambition for lifecycle management.
- Identify key stakeholders, dependencies, and integration points across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, service, and adjacent value streams.
- Support the Business Program Leader in aligning senior leadership around the engineering and lifecycle transformation strategy.
- Help establish future-state business roles, including global process owners, subject matter experts, data stewards, and change champions for the lifecycle management workstream.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver lifecycle management transformation milestones on time, within scope, and aligned to business value.
- Develop and execute transformation plans covering scope, milestones, data readiness, process design, testing, deployment, and resource alignment.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to process design, product and asset data, compliance, integration, and business readiness.
- Monitor workstream progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders on status, decisions, issues, and value delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement across engineering and lifecycle processes to improve traceability, standardization, efficiency, and sustainment outcomes.
- Collaborate across engineering, operations, quality, ISC, service, and digital teams to ensure integrated and sustainable solution delivery.
- Ensure adherence to governance, solution standards, and transformation methodologies supporting a clean core and fit-to-standard lifecycle management design.
QualificationsU.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTDue to US export control laws, candidates must be U.S. citizen, perm resident, protected status under asylum/refugee, OR can obtain export approval.
YOU MUST HAVE- 8+ years of experience in supply chain project management, demonstrating a consistent record of success in leading and delivering complex projects.
- Strong understanding of the company's processes, plus access to region and BU representatives that help clarify variations and regional requirements
- Expert knowledge of supply chain processes, spanning procurement, planning, manufacturing, logistics, and customer fulfillment.
- Proven experience in leading and managing complex supply chain projects, demonstrating expertise in project planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.
WE VALUE- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Strong leadership and strategic thinking abilities, with the capacity to shape the future direction of engineering and lifecycle management capabilities.
- Ability to influence and drive change in a complex, matrixed organization while aligning engineering, operations, and digital stakeholders around common outcomes.
- Experience with transformation methodologies, governance frameworks, and enterprise systems supporting PLM, ERP, service, or asset lifecycle processes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex lifecycle, engineering, and transformation concepts for diverse audiences.
- Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional environment, fostering collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, service, and IT teams.
- Strong program and change leadership skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities in a complex transformation environment. PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
- Ability to drive adoption, accountability, and organizational readiness for new lifecycle management processes and tools.
- Proactive approach to identifying process, data, and governance improvement opportunities across the product and asset lifecycle.
- Commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement, standardization, and sustainable operational excellence.
- Proven ability to solve complex business and systems problems across engineering, lifecycle management, and enterprise transformation domains.
