Full Job Description
Broad Function

The Director, Risk/Insurance, is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating a comprehensive risk and insurance program to ensure the organization's employees and assets are adequately and appropriately protected and to control risks and losses. This position owns the process of identifying, measuring, and managing insurable or hazard risks, developing reports and plans, analyzing risk/insurance problems and defining and/or overseeing the implementation of the risk solutions that help optimize operations.

Essential Functions
• Promote, demonstrate, and instill Brock's Bsafe and Bbest culture in all aspects of the business
• Develop, execute, and maintain processes and procedures for risk management function.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and advisor to corporate and business units on various insurance risks, insurance programs, and related solutions
• Develop, execute, and maintain business service partnerships with business units to manage multi-year, million-dollar customer contracts
• Direct the purchase and renewal of company liability insurance and workers' compensation programs, including data preparation, assessment of acceptable risk retention and coverage levels, review and approval of policy endorsements and coverages, and negotiation of insurance costs and collateral requirements
• Maintain historical records and copies of all property, casualty, and finpro policies as well as client OCIP program materials
• Interpret insurance coverage and communicate any policy and procedure changes to appropriate users
• Manage relationships with third party service providers including brokers, insurers, attorneys, actuaries and other TPAs
• Develop and maintain risk management systems and tools, developing reporting and analysis to measure, analyze and manage insurance claims as well as to provide insurance data to key stakeholders for audit, financial reporting, and legal purposes
• Manage company insurance and OCIP insurance audits
• Analyze client/customer required OCIP programs, recommending solutions to integrate OCIP coverage with company's insurance coverage, ensuring concerns from operations are addressed and risks mitigated
• Support Contract Administration with review of insurance and bond provisions of customer and subcontractor contracts/drafts during the commercial development stage
• Review, negotiate and manage bond requirements
• Manage property and general liability claims and loss control activities
• Assist with the preparation and review of actuarial reserves for financial reporting and collateral requirement purposes

• Frequent travel as required
