Job Description:

Role: The Director, Resource Operations will be responsible for fostering connectivity between the Executive Team, Finance, Human Resources and Talent Acquisition to successfully build and maintain the most effective teams across the organization.

Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Participate in talent strategizing and optimization during annual scoping conversations as well as during new business opportunities
  • Maintain a pulse on agency talent, identifying under/overutilized teams, recognizing capacity issues and shifting Talent across teams and brands as required
  • Facilitate quarterly calibration exercise, working with leadership teams to better understand employee performance, utilizing feedback to reward strong talent and identify gaps
  • Support internal mobility and deliver on the promise of accessibility to a network of career and growth opportunities
  • Lead the agency compensation reviews- partner with key stakeholders on budget management and effectiveness
  • Seamlessly integrate into Omnicom's broader talent platform and community
  • Embrace that the team is continuously evolving to adapt to the changing agency environment and media landscape. Help to establish the definition and execution of Resource Management.
  • Act as a partner to business teams working through sensitive talent issues, maintaining strict confidentiality.

Requirements:
  • 7-10 Years in Talent Operations, Resource Management, or similar field
  • Proven Resource Management experience related to both financial and people experience in size, complexity and scale to Omnicom Media Group
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
  • Proven record of successfully directing operational excellence within talent operations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with individuals at all levels
  • Ability to balance short and long term priorities
  • Ability to implement best practices and operational efficiencies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required, experience in Smartsheets, PowerPoint and Greenhouse is a plus
  • Eager to inspire and make meaningful contributions

90,000- 215,000

Omnicom's policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom's corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
