Full Job Description
The Investment Manager Services Division (IMS) at SEI is growing rapidly and is seeking new members on our Relationship Management and Client Service team. Our primary goal is to provide an exceptional client experience to our clients. As a Relationship Manager, you are responsible for managing the overall relationship of the clients assigned to you. You are also responsible for growing the business/market share and revenue with existing clients.

What you will do:
  • You will grow existing revenue.
  • You will manage the overall client relationship to maintain targeted revenue and profitability - establish a trusted and consultative relationship.
  • You will deepen and broaden strategic relationships within the client at the "C" suite level, executive buyers and key influencers.
  • You will develop an intimate understanding of the client's business, objectives, competitors to better consult and provide solutions.
  • You will develop, design and manage client account plan and annual account reviews.
  • You will provide strategic plan and conduct annual business planning process with clients.
  • You will act as consultant - Identify, present, market innovative recommendations relating to: industry trends, product differentiation (product rollout, new classes, channels, etc), new market opportunities, success stories, etc.).
  • You will work with team to continually define our service offering and manage client expectations.
  • You will ensure referenceability of client, as evidenced through NPS.
  • You will perform annual client account reviews.
  • You will develop forecast for existing business using Client Business Plan and current client profitability.
  • You will identify, assess and cross sell solutions and services.
  • You will maximize the product profitability.
  • You will contribute to the success of the market unit by identifying and participating in department wide initiatives to improve effectiveness
  • You will foster relationship and support SEI team members and other teams involved in client relationship including Account Manager, Solutions, Operations, Marketing Director, and Wholesaler (as applicable).
  • You will develop Relationships within other SEI Solutions Groups.
  • You will leverage internal intellectual capital and share success stories.
  • You will expand industry knowledge and network.


What we need from you:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 10 years investment management/operations experience (preferably in Alternatives).
  • Excellent Client Service skills built around the SEI Client Experience Principles.
  • Ability to connect with clients and establish trusted relationships.
  • Positive, hard working, diligent attitude.
  • Proven project management skills.
  • The self-motivation and drive to monitor multiple client deliverables without sacrificing excellence or quality.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and as you will primarily support your clients through email and/or phone calls.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of your time.
