Job Description
The Director Rehabilitation Services provides effective leadership and works closely with department staff and managers of other departments. Responsible for achieving the Department mission, goals and objectives. Provides responsible resource/fiscal management including budget preparation. Responsible for regulatory compliance, program planning and development, equipment and facilities planning and maintenance. Ensures continuous process improvement and redesign in therapy services and patient experience. Engages in research and integrates evidence-based practice into clinical, operational, financial, logistical, and leadership processes. The Director is responsible for staff recruitment, retention, development, training and performance management. Rehabilitation Services includes Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy, for in and out-patients at El Camino Hospital Los Gatos and Mountain View campuses.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in business of health related field.
Masters or advanced clinical degree, preferred. Minimum five (5) years clinical experience in acute care. Demonstrated leadership and management skills. Demonstrated ability to manage resources. Demonstrated ability to increase customer satisfaction in a cost-effective manner.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively under multiple demands, expectations and situations.
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Proficiency in computer skills including MS Office and electronic medical record systems.
License/Certification/Registration Requirements
Current California Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Pathologist license.
Salary Range:
$89.63 - $134.45 USD Hour
