Position Summary

Provides senior executive leadership, strategic direction, financial management, and operational oversight for Regional Pathology Services (RPS), the laboratory outreach enterprise of UNMC and Nebraska Medicine. Reporting to the Administrator of the Department of Pathology, Microbiology, and Immunology, this leadership role is responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth, expanding market share, strengthening client relationships, developing innovative laboratory solutions, and ensuring operational excellence. Collaborates with the departmental leadership to develop, interpret, and apply departmental policies, budgets, and long-range plans while maintaining regulatory compliance, financial stewardship, and exceptional customer service.

  • Experience in an academic health system or another complex matrixed organization requiring alignment across clinical, academic, operational, and corporate stakeholders.
  • Experience evaluating or executing strategic partnerships, affiliations, joint ventures, acquisitions, or major capital and technology investments.
