Position Summary

Facilities Technician, Senior will successfully lead crews and complete Preventive Maintenance, Troubleshooting, Work Orders and Minor Renovations and to include the following trades: HVAC, Refrigeration, Plumbing, Temperature controls, Lighting and Electrical. This position will be responsible for assisting Zone Facility Managers and/or coordinators with the scheduling, coordinating, mentoring and leading crews.

2) Successfully complete safety training courses and adhere to safety procedures.
3) Ability to communicate with campus customers, vendors and technicians.
4) Ability to guide others in regard to necessary steps taken to troubleshoot, repair and install a variety of equipment and systems.
5) Knowledge and application of a variety of city, state, and federal regulations.
6) Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve complex issues and problems.
7) Capable of mentoring crew members and providing guidance throughout the completion of projects.
8) Ability to share insight, expertise, and instruct others on complex tasks.
