Director, Asset ManagementThe Director, Housing Asset Management job is responsible for maximizing the value of the organization's real estate portfolio through the execution of managing, leasing, development, and dispositions of diversified, domestic real estate investments. With limited oversight from management, this job manages large projects or teams that achieve superior returns on real estate assets through active management and leasing while operating in a highly collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities and Duties- Manages a portfolio of real estate assets within a specific sector focus, such as housing or industrial.
- Ensures property performance contributes to portfolio performance that beats the applicable benchmark.
- Oversees negotiations for property management, leasing and construction contracts.
- Recommends the investment strategies for a significant portfolio of real estate investments, usually covering more than one region or geographical market.
- Monitors the financial analysis/modeling of current and projected performance of property investments to ensure accuracy and report to clients and senior management.
- Implements organization initiatives, including environmental, social and governance (ESG) at the asset level
- Maintains familiarity with current issues impacting the real estate management business.
- Possesses significant knowledge of current real estate market conditions for submarkets in which assets are located.
- Uses deep expertise to generates multiple strategies to drive performance or solve problems.
- Mitigates asset risk through close interaction with asset management subordinates to ensure property operations and tenant relationships are occurring effectively.
Educational Requirements- Bachelor's Degree Required

Base Pay Range: $125,000/yr - $175,000/yr
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
