Job DescriptionSchedule: Days: M-FJob Location Type: [Hybrid]Travel: up to 90% More about our team The Resource Director of Quality is responsible for serving in an interim role across various behavioral health facilities when a vacancy exists. The Resource Director assumes all the duties expected for the specific role assigned during their tenure. The Resource Director will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the delivery of quality general and psychiatric care consistent with the facility's goals and objectives. The Resource Director works closely with all directors to recommend/provide required staff development and tailored programs based upon data analysis.
How you'll contribute A Resource Director of Qualitywho excels in this role:
- Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Enhances hospital visibility by involvement in community regarding mental health and substance abuse community needs.
- Functions as a liaison between physicians, patients, referral sources, and employees.
- Ensures that the inpatient programs are staffed with the appropriate resources to ensure high quality of care delivery.
- Meets hospitals staffing and budget benchmarks.
- Assures adequate supervision and evaluation processes for all staff members and delegate these responsibilities as appropriate.
- Assists with orientation for new employees.
- Monitors the hospitals quality/risk program.
- Demonstrates an extensive knowledge of all regulatory standards including The Joint Commission, Medicaid, state, and federal laws.
- Works with hospital employees to identify risk/safety concerns and leads the team to take correction action as needed.
- Collects and analyzes data on hospital performance.
- Collects incident reports; records, analyzes, investigates data and reports to Quality Council and Chief Executive Officer.
- Utilizes the PDCA method to develop improvement plans for the hospital.
- Acts as a role model for excellent customer service and holds all staff to this standard.
- Acts as Director of Risk Management/Quality at assigned hospital and assumes all responsibilities therein.

What we're looking for Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Nursing, or related clinical field from an accredited school required; Master's degree in clinical field from an accredited school preferred with 3yrs of risk management and regulatory compliance in a healthcare setting required. Additional requirements include:
- Counseling, Social Work, or Registered Nurse license preferred.
- CPR certification is required within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact.
- De-escalation certification is required within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact.
