Full Job Description
We9re looking for a Director, Project Services to join our Minerals & Metals leadership team in North America. This role can be based in Toronto, Vancouver, or Calgary.

This is a key leadership opportunity within our North American business and a valued member of the Regional Leadership Team (RLT). You9ll partner closely with Project Managers and Project Controls teams across a diverse portfolio of projects, while collaborating with regional Project Controls leaders and Vice Presidents to drive strong, consistent project delivery.

About the role

In this role, you9ll have a broad and meaningful impact, including:
  • Driving project performance by monitoring and reporting on execution, ensuring alignment with regional priorities and strategic goals
  • Supporting accurate forecasting across project backlogs, estimates to complete, and the broader business development pipeline
  • Reviewing and approving key study capital expenditures in line with Ausenco9s governance processes
  • Ensuring consolidated cash flow forecasts are accurate and helping drive strong DSO performance
  • Partnering with Project Managers to navigate challenges, while contributing to strategic pursuits and proposal development
  • Promoting consistent, standardized project controls practices across regional offices
  • Mentoring and developing your team, supporting broader people initiatives, and playing an active role in attracting top talent

About You

You are a proven strategic business partner looking for your next challenge and can offer the following skills and experience:
  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Mining, or similar)
  • Extensive (15 years +) experience in engineering consulting, EPCM, or project delivery within Minerals & Metals or similar industry
  • Strong track record across project controls, including estimating, planning & scheduling, cost control, and project management
  • Experience leading large, complex projects through the full lifecycle, from studies to execution
  • Proven ability to lead and develop multidisciplinary teams across multiple locations and partner effectively with Project Managers and senior stakeholders
  • Solid commercial and financial acumen, including forecasting, budgeting, and project governance
  • Demonstrated ability to drive consistency, improve delivery practices, and influence outcomes in a fast-paced environment
  • A collaborative, hands-on leader with strong communication skills and a focus on quality, people development, and results
