Job Summary

The Director of the Project Management Office (PMO) provides strategic and operational leadership for enterprise-wide projects and programs. This role ensures initiatives are aligned with organizational goals, compliant with funding requirements, appropriately resourced and successfully delivered to support mission impact.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

PMO Leadership & Governance
  • Manage and expand a centralized PMO
  • incorporate project standards, tools, and governance frameworks
  • Ensure accountability, transparency, and compliance

Strategic Alignment
  • Align initiatives with mission, funding priorities, and strategic goals
  • Collaborate with executive leadership and program teams
  • Support cross-functional coordination

Portfolio Oversight
  • Manage project portfolio and prioritize initiatives
  • Track progress, risks, and outcomes
  • Ensure successful delivery of key initiatives

Financial & Compliance Management
  • Oversee budgets and forecasts
  • Ensure compliance with grants and public funding
  • Partner with finance and audit teams

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 10+ years of project/program management experience
  • 5+ years in leadership or PMO management
  • Experience in nonprofit, public sector, or human services
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
