Full Job Description
About the Role

The content and data at the foundation of the AlphaSense platform are a critical part of what makes our decision-grade AI decision-grade. As Director of Product Marketing, you'll own the positioning, messaging, and launch strategy for this foundation, along with our Tegus Expert Call Services offering, while leading and growing a high-performing team that brings this work to life.

You'll partner closely with product leaders across premium content, broker research, expert insights, and financial data teams to shape how we position our offering, influence the roadmap, and define the future of our content and data strategy. You'll lead the narratives, launches, use cases, and go-to-market plays that drive awareness, adoption, and expansion across the world's leading financial institutions and global enterprises.

This is a high-impact, high-visibility role, ideal for an experienced product marketing leader who wants to work at the intersection of AI and how the world's largest companies make decisions. You bring a strong ownership mindset and a bias for action. You're comfortable operating in ambiguity, standing up new go-to-market motions, and scaling the ones that work.

What You'll Do
  • Own the product marketing strategy across our premium content, proprietary data, and Tegus Expert Call Services-defining where we play (segments, personas, use cases) and how we win across our core audiences.
  • Craft messaging, positioning, and narratives that resonate with financial services, corporate, and consulting buyers and users
  • Lead end-to-end go-to-market for key launches and growth initiatives, from opportunity assessment and segmentation through launch planning and post-launch iteration.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, SDR, and Customer Success to build full-funnel journeys that drive awareness, pipeline, adoption, and expansion.
  • Translate complex product capabilities and rich content into clear, role-based value propositions that equip revenue teams to win.
  • Work directly with customers to identify high-value use cases, quantify ROI, and turn wins into reference stories the field can sell with.
  • Run structured market and customer insight work-win/loss, customer interviews, field feedback, competitive analysis-with the Competitive Intelligence team, maintaining a live, opinionated view of the landscape.
  • Feed customer and market perspectives into the global content and data roadmap, advocating for buyer needs, risks, and opportunities grounded in data and signal.
  • Create and maintain high-impact sales and customer assets (narratives, pitch decks, one-pagers, battlecards, talk tracks) and partner with Revenue Enablement on training.
  • Establish simple, scalable operating rhythms (business reviews, launch cadences, feedback loops) that connect GTM teams with global Product and Marketing.
  • Lead as a hands-on player-coach, growing and shaping an existing high-performing team while building a strong culture from day one.

Who You Are
  • 8-10+ years in B2B SaaS marketing with a strong product marketing foundation, including a proven track record leading PMM teams at high-growth companies-ideally having built or scaled a team.
  • Meaningful experience leading product marketing for enterprise or upper mid-market customers, ideally in financial services, capital markets, or market intelligence.
  • Deep understanding of the financial services landscape-hedge funds, investment banks, private equity, venture capital, and adjacent buyers-and how they research, evaluate, and buy.
  • Demonstrated success building and executing go-to-market strategies that drove pipeline, adoption, revenue, and retention.
  • Comfortable turning ambiguous problem spaces into clear strategies and roadmaps, and driving them through execution with cross-functional partners.
  • A strong storyteller who can distill complex, data-rich products into concise, compelling narratives for senior audiences.
  • Highly analytical-able to size opportunities, prioritize bets, and measure impact across the funnel.
  • A proven cross-functional collaborator who has influenced Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success at senior levels.
  • Strong people leader who has hired and coached product marketers, and is excited to build and scale a high-performing PMM team.
  • Comfortable presenting to large groups and willing to speak at industry events and tradeshows.
  • Domain expertise in financial services, capital markets, or market intelligence is strongly preferred, as is experience with AI, data, or analytics products.

Why This Role Matters
  • You'll define how AlphaSense positions and sells the premium content, data, and expert call services at the foundation of our platform, helping shape a critical growth chapter for the company.
  • You'll sit at the center of product, market, and GTM, influencing what we build, how we position it, and how we take it to market.
  • You'll have the runway to build everything from motions to team, alongside experienced leaders in product, sales, and marketing who care deeply about craft.
