AHF Products has a job opportunity for a Director of Procurement to be located in Mountville, PA. The Director of Procurement is a strategic and hands-on leader responsible for developing and executing global sourcing and procurement strategies across assigned spend categories, including Raw Materials--PVC, Plasticizer, Limestone, MRO, Indirect Spend, and other designated areas. Reporting to the Vice President, Global Procurement & Logistics, this role leads a team of procurement professionals and partners across the organization to deliver sustainable cost savings, strengthen supplier performance, mitigate supply risk, and support the company's operational and financial objectives.

JOB DUTIES:

Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:

Strategic Leadership & Category Management

  • Develop and execute global category and sourcing strategies that leverage AHF's scale, strengthen supplier partnerships, mitigate risk, and deliver year-over-year value.
  • Continuously monitor global market conditions, industry trends, supply dynamics, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities and anticipate challenges.
  • Lead competitive market analysis and benchmarking activities to ensure best-in-class procurement practices and supplier management approaches.
  • Partner with business leaders to align procurement strategies with operational, financial, and customer objectives.


Procurement Execution & Value Delivery

  • Personally lead and support high-impact sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations, contract management activities, and cost-reduction projects.
  • Identify, prioritize, and execute both short-term and long-term savings opportunities while maintaining or improving quality, service, and supply continuity.
  • Establish robust forecasting, spend analysis, and reporting processes to support financial planning, budgeting, and strategic decision-making.
  • Track, validate, and communicate savings performance, ensuring procurement value is accurately reflected in operating plans and budgets.
  • Drive process improvements that increase efficiency, enhance controls, and improve procurement performance across the organization.


Supplier & Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, business leaders, plant operations, and cross-functional partners.
  • Actively engage with global stakeholders and suppliers to foster collaboration, trust, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead supplier development initiatives, including Lean implementation, performance management, innovation programs, and risk mitigation efforts.
  • Ensure suppliers meet expectations for quality, delivery, service, sustainability, and cost competitiveness.


Team Leadership & Organizational Development

  • Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing global procurement team, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Set clear objectives, monitor performance, provide coaching and feedback, and create development opportunities that strengthen team capabilities.
  • Drive execution discipline by ensuring sourcing initiatives and team projects are completed on time and aligned with business priorities.
  • Build an agile, results-driven procurement organization capable of operating effectively in a dynamic global environment.
  • Communicate goals, priorities, achievements, and performance metrics to procurement leadership, business stakeholders, and executive management.


Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure procurement activities are conducted in accordance with company policies, ethical standards, and applicable regulations.
  • Exercise company contract signature authority in accordance with delegated authority guidelines.
  • Support risk management, supplier compliance, and business continuity initiatives across assigned categories.


TRAVEL:

  • 20% of travel expected


JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10 years of progressive procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain experience, including responsibility for large-scale spend categories and supplier portfolios.
  • 5+ years of experience leading global procurement organizations and cross-functional sourcing initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success building and leading high-performing procurement teams in a manufacturing environment.
  • Significant experience managing raw materials, MRO, and indirect spend, with a proven track record of delivering cost savings, supplier performance improvements, and risk mitigation.
  • Extensive experience leading complex sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations, contract management, and supplier development programs.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Must be able to successfully complete and pass a background check, employment verification and drug screening
  • Positive and Verifiable Work History


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Professional certifications such as CPSM, CPM, CSCP, APICS, Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent credentials preferred, with demonstrated success leading continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience leading global procurement operations
  • Experience with SAP, M3 or similar ERP systems
