Job Responsibilities

Shape the Future of Process Excellence

Lead the development and execution of our global Process Excellence (PEx) strategy, roadmap, and governance framework. Partner with senior leaders to align transformation priorities with business objectives, digital innovation initiatives, and financial goals while fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the enterprise.

Drive Enterprise Value Creation

Own a global portfolio of process improvement and transformation initiatives, ensuring measurable business impact through productivity improvements, cost savings, quality enhancements, and operational efficiency gains. Oversee opportunity assessment, business case development, benefits realization, and performance tracking.

Lead Business Transformation

Champion end-to-end process transformation across strategic business and digital programs. Guide teams through process assessment, future-state design, standardization, optimization, and implementation to deliver scalable, sustainable change.

Advance Automation and Digital Enablement

Lead the enterprise automation capability and collaborate with business, digital, data, and technology teams to identify and scale automation solutions that simplify work, improve customer and employee experiences, and accelerate business performance.

Own Enterprise Portfolio & Work Management Excellence

Provide leadership for the enterprise work management and project portfolio management platform (currently Workfront), ensuring effective demand management, prioritization, resource planning, portfolio governance, and executive visibility into strategic initiatives and investments.

Deliver Complex Transformation Programs

Build and lead enterprise-wide transformation programs from strategy through execution. Establish governance, align stakeholders, monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure successful adoption and transition into ongoing operations.

Enable Data-Driven Performance Management

Develop and oversee enterprise dashboards, KPIs, portfolio health metrics, adoption measures, and benefits realization tracking. Deliver meaningful insights that support executive decision-making and continuous performance improvement.

Build and Inspire High-Performing Teams

Lead, coach, and develop a globally distributed team across Process Excellence, Automation, and Enterprise Work Management functions. Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance culture focused on innovation, accountability, and results.

Create Scalable Operating Models

Design and implement standards, frameworks, governance processes, playbooks, and best practices that strengthen organizational effectiveness, improve consistency, and drive excellence across the enterprise.

Apply Industry-Leading Improvement Methodologies

Leverage Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, value stream mapping, process mining, automation readiness assessments, and advanced analytics to identify improvement opportunities and drive measurable business outcomes.

Partner with Senior Leadership

Serve as a trusted advisor to executives and business leaders, helping identify strategic opportunities, prioritize investments, remove barriers, and accelerate delivery of key business objectives.

Champion Change and Adoption

Lead organizational change efforts that ensure new processes, technologies, and ways of working are successfully embedded and sustained through effective communication, training, stakeholder engagement, and capability building.

Ensure Quality, Risk, and Compliance Excellence

Drive transformation initiatives that incorporate strong governance, controls, compliance requirements, and quality standards appropriate for regulated scientific, laboratory, clinical, and corporate environments.

Cultivate Continuous Improvement Culture

Inspire innovation, operational excellence, customer-centric problem solving, and digital adoption by building enterprise capabilities and empowering teams to continuously improve how work gets done.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Operations, Engineering, Life Sciences, Technology, or a related field.
  • 10 or more years' of progressive experience in process excellence, operational excellence, transformation, automation, enterprise work management, business operations, consulting, or program leadership.
  • 7 or more years' experience leading cross-functional initiatives, transformation programs, platform-enabled operating model changes, or globally distributed teams in a matrixed environment.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree or MBA.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Master Black Belt, PMP, Agile, Prosci/change management, or equivalent certification.


Additional Job Standards
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable business value through operational excellence initiatives, including cost savings, productivity improvements, cycle-time reduction, quality enhancement, service improvement, and customer experience outcomes against committed targets.
  • Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end process transformation initiatives that enable digital, automation, data and analytics, workflow, project portfolio management, and technology-driven business strategies.
  • Deep practical expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, change management, portfolio governance, demand management, execution tracking, and KPI-driven performance management, with a focus on sustainable business impact.
  • Experience operating within complex global, multi-site organizations, preferably in regulated environments such as laboratory services, diagnostics, clinical operations, healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Proven success leveraging process mining, workflow automation, AI-enabled solutions, operational analytics, and enterprise platforms such as ERP, LIMS, CRM, project portfolio management, and enterprise work management systems to drive business performance.
  • Demonstrated experience establishing, scaling, or maturing Process Excellence, Continuous Improvement, Automation, or Enterprise Work Management Centers of Excellence, governance frameworks, and operating models.
  • Transformational leadership capability with the ability to set strategic direction, inspire teams, align stakeholders, and deliver measurable results in large, complex, and matrixed organizations.
