Job Description Summary

Position Responsibilities:
• Drive product line performance by influencing utilization, ROI, lifecycle cost, and uptime through product and supplier strategy decisions in partnership with Operations and Fleet Management
• Develop, communicate, and drive execution of product line strategy across the business, translating business needs into aligned products, sourcing, and lifecycle decisions
• Define and execute fleet strategies including specification, mix, replacement timing, and disposition channels
• Drive continuous improvement in total cost of ownership through data analysis, benchmarking, and targeted initiatives
• Lead commercial strategy and negotiations with OEMs and suppliers, including pricing, specifications, rebates, and product requirements
• Translate business requirements into negotiation positions and supplier expectations, partnering with Supplier Management for contract structure and execution
• Identify and implement new product and technology opportunities to enhance market competitiveness and support growth
• Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, Fleet, Marketing, Connected Assets, and Finance to align product strategies with field execution
• Influence capital allocation decisions by ensuring alignment between fleet strategy and business priorities
• Communicate clear, data-driven recommendations to senior leadership, and establish scalable product line management processes as the function evolves

Requirements:

Education & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
• 12-15+ years of experience across product management, fleet management, capital equipment sourcing, or related roles within equipment rental, industrial, or OEM environments
• Demonstrated ownership of a product line, category, or business segment, with accountability for driving measurable improvements in performance (e.g., utilization, ROI, lifecycle cost, margin)
• Strong understanding of the construction, industrial, or power generation equipment landscape, including market dynamics, supplier capabilities, and lifecycle considerations
• Proven ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable plans and execute through cross-functional teams, particularly within a matrixed organization
• Experience leading commercial strategy and supplier engagement, including developing negotiation positions, influencing outcomes, and aligning supplier capabilities with business needs
• Solid grasp of fleet strategy and lifecycle management, including specification development, product selection, replacement timing, maintenance considerations, and disposition strategies
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and apply insights to drive business decisions, cost improvements, and operational efficiency
• Strong influencing and communication skills, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders across Operations, Sales, Finance, Fleet, and Supply Chain, including presenting to senior leadership
• Track record of driving change and delivering results in a complex, fast-paced environment, including establishing processes, improving performance metrics, and scaling capabilities over time
• Demonstrated ability to lead through both direct and indirect structures, including influencing teams without formal authority, developing talent and organizational capability, and showing readiness to scale into formal people leadership as the function grows
• Professional certifications (CEM, CEFM, EMS, CPM) are a plus
• Travel Exp-35%

Physical Demands:

Must be able to bend, squat, crouch and/or reach and lift up to 25 pounds or more, as required by the job. Some Sunbelt jobs may require driving for long periods of time, loading and unloading heavy equipment, performing work in extreme weather conditions including rain, wind, or excessive temperatures and/or night and weekend work. Base Pay Range: $146,880.00 - 201,960.00
