The Opportunity

We're seeking a Director of Platform Integrations to lead the strategy, delivery, and operational management of the integrations that power Allegacy's digital ecosystem. Reporting to the CIO, this leader will oversee the architecture, implementation, and ongoing support of integrations across digital banking, fintech partners, core banking systems, and enterprise data platforms.

This role plays a critical part in enabling innovation across the organization. From integrating fintech solutions into digital banking and online account opening to connecting chat and voice platforms with core systems, the Director of Platform Integrations ensures that our technology ecosystem functions as a unified, scalable platform.

You'll lead a small but highly impactful team responsible for integration support, ticket management, platform reliability, and new feature deployments. Working closely with Digital Channels, Data & Analytics, Infrastructure, and vendor partners, you will ensure integrations are resilient, scalable, and aligned with Allegacy's strategic technology roadmap.

What You'll Own

Platform Integration Strategy
  • Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for enterprise platform integrations supporting digital banking, fintech partnerships, and enterprise systems.
  • Design scalable, secure integration architectures that connect digital platforms with the core banking system, data warehouse, and other critical systems.
  • Identify opportunities to modernize integration capabilities using APIs, event-driven architecture, and integration platforms.

Digital Ecosystem Enablement
  • Lead the technical integration of fintech platforms into Allegacy's digital banking ecosystem, enabling new capabilities and member experiences.
  • Oversee integrations supporting online account opening, digital servicing tools, and emerging financial technology partnerships.
  • Ensure seamless connectivity between digital channels and core banking systems, supporting real-time transactions and data flows.

Data & Platform Connectivity
  • Oversee integration pipelines that extract and transform operational data into enterprise analytics platforms and data warehouses.
  • Ensure high standards of data reliability, security, and governance across integration workflows.
  • Partner with data and analytics teams to support scalable data ingestion and platform interoperability.

Operational Excellence & Support
  • Lead a team responsible for integration platform support, ticket management, and issue resolution across critical systems.
  • Ensure integrations operate with high availability, reliability, and performance.
  • Oversee deployment of new integration features and enhancements, ensuring proper testing, documentation, and operational readiness.

Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Manage and develop a team of 2-3, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with technology and cross-functional teams to align integration capabilities with organizational priorities.
  • Coordinate with external fintech and platform vendors to support implementation, troubleshooting, and ongoing optimization.


Requirements

What You Bring
  • 7+ years of experience in technology integration, platform engineering, or enterprise systems integration roles.
  • Demonstrated expertise with APIs, middleware, and integration technologies supporting complex enterprise ecosystems.
  • Experience integrating digital platforms with core banking systems, fintech solutions, or enterprise SaaS platforms.
  • Strong understanding of modern integration patterns including REST APIs, event-driven architectures, message queues, and ETL pipelines.
  • Experience supporting integration platforms in production environments, including monitoring, ticket management, and issue resolution.
  • Proven leadership experience managing small technical teams and delivering reliable operational support.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.


Bonus Points If You Have
  • Experience working in financial services, fintech, or other regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with digital banking platforms, online account opening systems, or conversational banking technologies.
  • Experience integrating enterprise data platforms or cloud data warehouses.
  • Knowledge of integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, Azure Integration Services, or similar technologies.
  • Experience implementing API governance, integration security standards, or enterprise integration frameworks.
