POSITION SUMMARY: The Director of Plant Operations is responsible for the ongoing, effective oversight of the facility operations and biomedical equipment. This position plans, organizes, directs, coordinates, and controls the facility operations and Maintenance, Environmental Service and IT departments. This position completes all duties and functions of the Hospital Safety Officer. The Director of Plant Operations maintains compliance with all regulatory agency requirements, including Joint Commission, Centers for Medicare, and Medicaid Services (CMS), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), State and Local agencies, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), etc.

Qualifications - Bachelor's in related field (with three years of qualifying plant operations experience) or an Associate's degree (with five years of qualifying plant operations experience).
- Five years of management experience in a hospital setting required.
- Satisfactory motor vehicle operation report required.
- Regulatory and accrediting agency standards, rules, and regulations - Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA, NFPA, State and Local codes.
- Demonstrated experience in working with various building trades, including HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, carpentry preferred.
- Intermediate level computer experience, including Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, and Outlook.
