Director Patient Services - Winter Haven Hospital Summary:
- Participates in planning, policy development and priority setting.
- Ensures that nursing and other assigned clinical areas have policies that are consistent with the overall goals of the health system.
- Ensures compliance in the provision of care to quality and safety standards.
- Maintains a competent workforce adhering to regulatory guidelines (financial, employment, AHCA and JCAHO) and established national standards of care.
- Collaborates with other directors, administrators, medical staff and other departments to provide and maintain optimal services in a cost effective manner.
- Promotes evidence-based clinical care that exemplifies the pursuit of clinical excellence.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Required Education includes MSN or BSN and Master's Degree in related field.
- Required experience includes 4 years in Healthcare Leadership or
- 3 years in Nursing Leadership w/ MSN or
- Doctorate's Nursing and RN Certification.
Credentials:
- Required - RN (Registered Nurse); Preferred - Nurse Specialist
