Overview

Ignite your career as Director, OOH in the Publicis Media Exchange! As an experienced Media Investment Professional, you already know that OOH is dynamic and more important than ever, providing clients with market specific strategies that maximize results while reducing waste. Publicis Media Exchange has re-imagined OOH bringing together our Collective, Digitas, Razorfish, Spark, Starcom, Infinite Roar and Zenith agency leads. Discover the difference that PMX has to offer. Our Client Leads bring it all together, the direct link between our clients, our teams and the continuously evolving marketplace. In this role your ability to problem solve, communicate clearly, and engage across all stakeholders will be pivotal to our success.

As a Director you will:
  • Be a forward-facing industry leader, successfully building relationships with clients. You will interact with the client on a regular basis to understand their needs and help them reach their target market, ultimately growing the business for them and your brand agency.
  • Collaborate with planning Directors and Leads in all Agency Pillars; brainstorm for increased innovation in client communication and / or productivity.
  • Prepare semi-annual state of industry reports.
  • Develop/Monitor CPMs provided to Strategy to ensure accuracy based on Client savings guarantees, marketplace trends and Agency Deals.
  • Advocate and manage the utilization and reporting for any Investments inclusive of VBS (Apex).
  • Assist the IC in the management and development of a team of direct reports that includes Buyers and Client Leads. You will maintain the workload of your team, delegating tasks and responsibilities to ensure the most productive and effective use of each person's skills, while motivating their interests and challenging their minds.
  • Solutions Oriented - Collaborate with your IC Lead, team and client to develop innovative, well-targeted investment solutions. Encourage your team to think of all the possibilities and produce alternative media solutions to problems.
  • Advocate for multicultural & diversity inclusion through Investments. Champion the 4As Fair Play Charter and all other diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Qualifications

This is an opportunity for you if you have 10+ years experience in OOH and are a proven leader who holds authority and fosters respect while leading a team in day-to-day media management. It is preferred that you have advanced experience of Microsoft Suite (specific attention to Excel and PPT), as well as various media platforms such as Media Ocean (Spectra OX & Prisma) & MediaX. If you enjoy building great relationships with clients, staff and vendor partners, have a history of strategizing/negotiating to get the job done right and enjoy delivering polished presentations, we want to talk to you!

SKILLS NEEDED FOR ROLE

      • Proven Leader who commands authority and respect while leading a team in day-to-day media management

      • Able to delegate management and operational tasks to team members
      • Experience with various all media platforms (Media Ocean Spectra OX, PRISMA, and MediaX)
      • Experience with Programmatic Digital OOH preferred
      • Strong understanding of OOH tools including Geopath & Telmar
      • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite (specific attention to Excel and PPT)
      • You have proven thought Leadership experience and think quick on your feet. You are proactive and an independent problem solver
      • You think strategically. You consider the bigger picture. You analyze everything and think critically when solving problems to produce unconventional solutions
      • You have the experience to manage groups, meet tight deadlines, and foster talent
      • You build great relationships with clients and vendor partners. Have a history strategizing/negotiating to get the job done right and track record of success in media. You understand business and have a knack for sharing complicated ideas in a simple, understandable way
      • You deliver polished presentations and know how to package, merchandise, and sell-in concepts and new opportunities. You have led clients through your strategies and POVs
      • You are up to date on the latest in Advertising trends and tools
      • Preferred: Bachelor's degree, ideally with a concentration in advertising, marketing, business administration, or communications preferred. If you have an MBA, that is a bonus.
      • Approx. 10 Years in OOH Investment or Media Planning (specific knowledge in OOH)

Compensation Range: USD $121,315.00 - USD $194,220.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
