What We Are Looking For

Baylor University is seeking a Director for Truett Dallas. This position is meant to support the education of men and women for worldwide leadership and service by integrating academic excellence and Christian commitment within Dallas and surrounding areas. This position is responsible for all related student and academic services to include, but not limited to: networking, recruitment, enrollment, student life activities, and student conduct.

A Doctoral degree and ten years of relevant work experience are required. A Doctoral degree and twelve years of relevant work experience are preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of one another.

All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

What You Will Do
  • Support the University and Truett by deepening relationships between Truett and affiliated congregational, denominational, and institutional leaders, developing long-term relationships with churches, ministers, and laity of the church among groups of shared commitments with Truett Seminary and serve as a member of senior leadership in the Seminary and contribute to implementation of Seminary priorities and policies
  • Assess, strategize, and coordinate recruitment efforts for Masters and Doctor of Ministry prospective students
  • Collaborate with full-time employees and part-time student workers in specific tasks designed for the appropriate audience and market
  • Initiate and maintain correspondence with prospective students regarding admission and enrollment decisions
  • Coordinate with recruitment and marketing team to implement all communication plans, providing structure and strategy as needed
  • Work with Truett's office of academic affairs and the Dean to schedule classes leading to completion of degrees and communicate this information to the Academic Suite in a timely, efficient manner
  • Support Dallas students in all academic matters, providing necessary academic reports to the Dean for ongoing review and strategic planning
  • Oversee and provide vision for day-to-day operations of the Truett Dallas campus, including interaction with students and faculty (including issues related to student enrollment, assessment, curriculum, etc. as well as to adjunct faculty advisement in relation to syllabi, schedules, preparation, student interaction, etc.)
  • Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission
  • Ability to comply with university policies
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
