Full Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of Treasury will be responsible for setting and executing the enterprise treasury strategy across the United States and Canada, with indirect oversight of international treasury activities. This role will serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on liquidity, capital structure, and financial risk management, ensuring the organization is optimally positioned to fund operations, support growth, and maximize cash flow.

The Director will lead all aspects of cash management, banking strategy, debt and capital planning, and risk mitigation, while driving enterprise-wide initiatives to improve working capital efficiency and financial performance. This role reports to the Chief Accounting Officer and partners closely with the CFO and Executive Leadership Team to inform key business decisions and long-term financial strategy.

CORE FUNCTIONS
Define and lead the enterprise treasury strategy, including liquidity management, capital allocation, and financial risk management across North America and global operations.
Serve as a key advisor to the CAO, CFO and Executive Leadership Team, providing insights and recommendations on cash flow, capital structure, financing strategies, and macroeconomic risks.
Own banking and financial partner strategy, including selection, negotiation, and optimization of banking platforms, credit facilities, and related services.
Lead capital structure planning and debt strategy, including oversight of ABL facilities, lender relationships, and future financing initiatives.
Establish and enhance enterprise-wide cash forecasting frameworks, including ownership of the 13-week cash flow model, long-range liquidity planning, and scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Drive working capital optimization initiatives in partnership with Finance, Procurement, and Sales leadership, establishing KPIs and accountability mechanisms to improve cash conversion and free cash flow.
Oversee financial risk management, including foreign exchange exposure, interest rate risk, and hedging strategies, ensuring alignment with company risk tolerance and market conditions.
Lead treasury transformation and process optimization efforts, including automation, system enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives to increase visibility, efficiency, and control.
Establish and maintain a strong internal control environment, ensuring SOX compliance and readiness for internal and external audits.
Develop and lead treasury policies, governance frameworks, and standard operating procedures to support scalability and global alignment.
Provide executive-level reporting and insights on liquidity, risk, and cash performance, including clear recommendations to drive business outcomes.
Build and develop treasury talent and capabilities, positioning the function as a strategic partner to the broader organization.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or other related degree required.
• 10+ years of progressive treasury experience required, including 5+ years of management experience.
• Experience with capital markets, debt structuring, or large-scale financing
• Demonstrated experience partnering with executive leadership
• MBA or advanced degree is preferred.

Required Licenses
• CTP preferred.

Skills and Abilities
• Preferred experience with cash management and / or business insurance processes.
• Skilled in Microsoft Excel, specifically in pivot tables, vlook-ups, formulas, and functions.
• Ability to problem solve independently and resourcefully.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to think analytically.
• Ability to function efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Manager+: Plans, organizes, evaluates, and directs the employees within the department function. Has direct reports.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• This position is subject to sedentary work: exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involved sitting most of the time. Walking and standing are required only occasionally.

• This position is subject to the following physical activities: the use of fingers to pick, pick, or type, talking, and hearing.

Visual Acuity
• The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly of fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
