Your Key Responsibilities

The Director of Total Rewards Americas is responsible for Compensation, Benefits, Mobility, and Immigration across the region, including the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil and other countries in South America.
This role will provide strategic leadership for the regional Total Rewards function by leading and developing the team, advising senior leaders on compensation and benefits matters, partnering on workforce cost planning and analysis, and collaborating with key global stakeholders to drive business-aligned rewards programs.

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Collaborate with the Global Total Rewards team to implement the Total Rewards strategy across the region.
  • Lead compensation, benefits, recognition, and wellbeing programs.
  • Manage annual salary review, merit, bonus, and incentive processes.
  • Oversee job evaluation, job architecture, salary structures, and market pricing.
  • Ensure competitive, equitable, and legally compliant compensation programs.
  • Manage regional health, welfare, retirement, leave, and wellbeing programs.
  • Oversee benefits vendors, renewals, contracts, and service performance.
  • Establish policies, governance, controls, and processes for regional programs.
  • Use workforce and market data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Lead Total Rewards initiatives related to mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, and other business transformations.
  • Develop and communicate clear rewards information for employees and leaders.


Mobility & Immigration:
  • Manage policies for relocations, expatriate assignments, business travel, and cross-border employment.
  • Oversee domestic relocations and international assignments.
  • Design and administer relocation benefits in collaboration with third-party providers.
  • Oversee employment-based immigration matters to ensure processes are handled consistently, lawfully, and within required deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Manage relationships with immigration counsel and external service providers.


Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in compensation, benefits, or total rewards.
  • Experience supporting total rewards programs across the Americas.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Compensation structures and job architecture
    • Annual salary and incentive processes
    • Executive and sales compensation
    • Benefits and retirement programs
    • Pay equity and market benchmarking
    • Immigration laws and regulations
    • Relocations and assigments
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employment, compensation, benefits, and tax regulations in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil; experience supporting additional South American countries is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, financial, project-management, leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience working with senior leaders, compensation, benefits, and workforce analytics systems.
  • Manage confidential information and ability to adapt to change.
  • Master's degree in a related field and Professional total rewards certifications (e.g. CCP, SHRM) are preferred.
