Director of Talent Management

We're looking for an experienced Director of Talent Management to join our growing Pearpop Talent team.

Reporting to the VP of Talent Management, this role will serve as a senior leader within the organization, managing a strategic roster of creators while mentoring Talent Managers and Senior Talent Managers. You'll help elevate team performance, establish best practices, and partner cross-functionally to deliver exceptional results for both creators and brands.

This role is fully remote for candidates outside of Los Angeles. Los Angeles-based employees work a hybrid schedule from our Santa Monica headquarters three days per week.

Key Responsibilities
Team Development
  • Mentor and support Talent Managers and Senior Talent Managers, helping elevate performance through coaching, guidance, and knowledge sharing.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture and serve as a trusted resource for the broader talent management team.
  • Partner with the VP of Talent Management to implement team initiatives, best practices, and operational improvements.
Creator Representation
  • Manage a strategic roster of high-profile digital creators and influencers.
  • Negotiate complex brand partnerships, long-term collaborations, licensing opportunities, and other revenue-generating initiatives.
  • Develop long-term growth strategies that maximize creator revenue and career opportunities.
Business Development
  • Build and strengthen relationships with brands, agencies, platforms, and industry partners.
  • Identify opportunities to grow your roster and expand Pearpop's creator network.
  • Partner with creators to develop new IP and business ventures from concept to execution.
Operational Excellence
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, CRM management, pipeline reporting, contract execution, payment tracking, and campaign oversight.
  • Help improve internal workflows and operational processes that increase efficiency across the talent management team.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Business Development, Client Services, Operations, Product, Finance, Legal, and Leadership to deliver exceptional creator experiences.
  • Share market insights and contribute to strategic initiatives that strengthen Pearpop Talent's business.
Industry Expertise
  • Stay ahead of trends across the creator economy, social platforms, emerging technologies, and brand marketing to ensure Pearpop remains at the forefront of creator representation.
  • Act as a key representative of Pearpop Talent through thought leadership, cultural moments, and industry events.


What You Will Bring
Experience
  • 6+ years of talent management, creator representation, influencer marketing, or related experience.
  • Proven success managing a creator roster generating $200,000+ in monthly GMV.
Leadership
  • Experience mentoring, coaching, or leading high-performing talent management teams.
Creator Management
  • Significant experience managing six- and seven-figure creator businesses and negotiating high-value brand partnerships.
  • Proven track record of signing and retaining high-caliber creators.
Strategic Thinking
  • Ability to balance day-to-day execution with long-term creator growth strategies and business development.
Sales & Negotiation
  • Exceptional negotiation skills with experience closing complex partnerships and maximizing revenue opportunities.
Organization
  • Highly organized with strong CRM management experience, forecasting abilities, and operational discipline.
Passion
  • Deep knowledge of the creator economy, social platforms, influencer marketing, and digital culture.


Compensation

Salary:$150,000-$175,000 plus an uncapped commission model.
