Full Job Description
SUMMARY
The Director of Talent Management is responsible for leading and executing enterprise-wide recruiting and talent acquisition strategy. This role provides strategic direction, governance, and leadership for all recruiting functions and performance management, ensuring the organization attracts, hires, and retains high-quality talent across corporate, operational, and frontline roles. The Director partners closely with senior leadership, HR Business Partners, and Operations to forecast workforce needs, optimize recruiting processes, ensure compliance, and strengthen the employer brand. This position oversees recruiting leaders and teams, establishes scalable recruiting practices, and drives continuous improvement through data, technology, and market insights.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and lead the company's enterprise-wide talent acquisition strategy aligned with business and operational goals
  • Lead performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and continuous feedback
  • Provide leadership, direction, and oversight to recruiting managers and recruiting teams
  • Partner with senior leadership, HR, and Operations to forecast workforce needs and staffing models
  • Establish recruiting standards, policies, and best practices to ensure consistency and compliance
  • Oversee recruiting metrics and analytics to evaluate effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of hire
  • Drive employer branding initiatives in collaboration with Marketing and Communications
  • Recruitment marketing, technical school partnerships, and community outreach
  • Enhance succession planning strategy and needs
  • Oversee vendor relationships, including recruitment agencies, technology platforms, and external partners
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives related to recruiting technology, workflows, and candidate experience
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Support high-volume hiring, new station launches, acquisitions, and expansion initiatives
  • Develop and mentor recruiting leadership to strengthen bench strength and succession planning
  • Manage the recruiting budget and ensure cost-effective hiring practices
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by senior leadership

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum 8-10 years of progressive talent acquisition experience, including frontline and leadership roles
  • Experience managing enterprise-wide performance management processes in a large-scale environment
  • Demonstrated experience leading recruiting teams in a multi-site or high-volume environment
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment tech, sourcing, HR practices, employment law, analytics, and recruiting compliance
  • Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and operational stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, operational environment
  • Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Must be flexible to work extended hours on occasion to support field operations
  • Pass a background check and drug screen
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Ability to work onsite four days a week
