Full Job Description

STV is seeking a structured, metrics-driven Director of Delivery, Sustainability Advisory to oversee the operations, resource allocation, and project workflows of our sustainable design and certification practice. This role is designed for an experienced manager who specializes in establishing standard operating procedures, managing utilization, and scaling delivery pipelines.

As the delivery lead of the business unit, this individual will take full responsibility for daily resource management, project tracking, and delivery efficiency, establishing operational controls and workflows.

Responsibilities:
Technical Execution and Program Delivery

  • Lead the continuous optimization of the business unit’s delivery frameworks. Champion the advancement, institutionalization, and enforcement of a sustainable design program to standardize delivery across all core services, including high-volume certification programs (LEED, Envision, WELL, etc.) and advanced corporate sustainability advisory pipelines.

  • Own resource allocation/modeling, team capacity management, and implement financial, climate, and performance metrics across programs to reduce delivery bottlenecks. Partner with and inform computational change efforts.

  • Serve as a senior delivery partner for core accounts, ensuring high-quality execution of complex carbon, greenhouse gas (GHG), and corporate sustainability deliverables. Maintain executive-level client relationships, manage delivery timelines with precision, and identify expansion opportunities.

  • Mentor and guide specialists to elevate project delivery capabilities.

  • Collaborate with national leaders across STV’s broader divisions to create automated workflows.


Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of progressive professional operations/project delivery leadership within a multi-disciplinary AEC firm/sustainability advisory practice within the AEC industry.

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, architectural engineering, or a related field; active professional licensure (e.g., PE, AIA) and industry sustainability credentials (e.g., LEED, ENV SP) preferred; Master’s preferred.

  • Documented history of optimizing sustainability services, standardizing workflows, and successfully managing project delivery health.

  • Deep fluency in project performance tracking tools; strong competency in managing diverse contract structures.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Proven capability to assess team workflows to identify opportunities, mentor specialists through organizational evolution, and foster an environment of accountability and delivery excellence.

Compensation Range:

$149,671.54 - $171,053.19
