North Dakota State Hospital (NDSH) is seeking a Director of Supply Chain in Jamestown, North Dakota.Help support a specialized state psychiatric hospital in providing safe, high quality care by strengthening and modernizing supply chain operations. NDSH is seeking a leader to develop and oversee procurement, inventory management, vendor coordination, and supply distribution in an environment where no formal supply chain structure currently exists.
As the Director of Supply Chain, you will be responsible for designing and implementing systems that ensure the right supplies and equipment are available to support daily operations and patient care. You will partner with leadership, clinical teams, and support services to improve efficiency, manage costs, and strengthen supply chain performance. You will oversee vendor relationships, inventory controls, and supply readiness, while preparing operations for a transition into a new hospital facility and ensuring continuity during both routine operations and emergency situations.
To thrive in this position, you must be highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment. You will bring strong problem solving and leadership skills, with the ability to build and improve processes from the ground up. You must be comfortable working with data, collaborating across departments, and driving solutions that improve systems, outcomes, and overall operational efficiency.
To be considered for the Director of Supply Chain position, you must have a bachelor's degree in a related field AND a minimum of 5 years' experience in supply chain, materials management, or logistics within a healthcare setting. Experience in government or large scale operations is preferred.LocationThis position is required to work onsite at the State Hospital in Jamestown, North Dakota.
