ABOUT THIS ROLE

As the Director of Supply Chain Management at LVT, you will play a pivotal role in driving our operational scale and efficiency as we build the next generation of intelligent site technology. Leading a dedicated supply chain organization-including procurement specialists, a Sr. Procurement Manager for new product sourcing, and an Inventory Control team-you will establish robust infrastructure and resilient supply chain processes. Your focus will center on balancing supply availability, optimizing inventory investment, component cost management, and partnering with R&D on complex, new product introductions.

This role is based full-time in-office out of our production facilities in Spanish Fork, Utah, with occasional travel to key domestic and international suppliers.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing supply chain organization, directly guiding procurement and inventory control leaders to foster operational excellence and professional growth.
  • Design, implement, and refine end-to-end supply chain processes and our Oracle Fusion ERP infrastructure to ensure consistent component availability in support of rapid manufacturing growth.
  • Optimize total inventory investment by establishing rigorous demand planning, safety stock, and inventory accuracy practices without compromising production schedules.
  • Partner closely with R&D and Hardware Engineering early in the development lifecycle to ensure cost-effective sourcing, risk mitigation, and seamless launch of new hardware solutions.
  • Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies that optimize cost performance, evaluate new global and domestic suppliers, and drive favorable commercial terms.
  • Establish key supplier performance metrics (KPIs) and lead business reviews to elevate vendor quality, on-time delivery, and lead-time reliability.
  • Analyze market trends, supply risks, and commodity cost fluctuations to proactively mitigate potential supply disruptions.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to establish quarterly supply chain targets and report regularly on margin improvements, inventory turns, and landed cost optimizations.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
  • Proven Executive Leadership: 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in supply chain, procurement, and inventory management within high-growth physical hardware or manufacturing environments.
  • People & Team Builder: Demonstrated ability to train, grow, lead, and elevate multi-tiered teams, including procurement specialists, strategic sourcing managers, and inventory control teams. Proven history of assessing talent and identifying where changes need to be made, either in training and development or upleveling where necessary.
  • NPI & Engineering Synergy: Deep experience partnering with R&D and engineering teams to integrate supply chain strategy early in new product development (NPI).
  • Strategic Sourcing & Negotiation Expert: Tough negotiator with track record of structuring high-impact supplier agreements and evaluating vendor capability, quality, and cost structures.
  • Process & ERP Champion: Mastery in leveraging modern ERP systems and supply chain tools to establish scalable inventory management and demand planning workflows. Experience building less mature procurement organizations into scalable, high performing teams is a major selection criterion.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experienced in sourcing electro-mechanical components, including wiring harnesses, PCBs, cameras, batteries, solar components, etc. Global sourcing experience is also a major plus.
  • Analytically Minded: Strong financial acumen with an ability to analyze complex cost models, landed costs, and working capital optimization strategies.
  • Hands-on Innovator: Thrives in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment with a mindset that balances strategic long-term vision with operational agility.
