Full Job Description
The Director of Studio Operations operates as the US Studio Lead reporting to the Chief Creative Officer of the Americas, with accountability to the Global Chief Production Officer. With US Studio budget and operations oversight, The Director of Studio Operations responsibilities include, employee oversight and management, client-facing production management, operational delivery, financial stewardship, strategic oversight and cross-studio accountability. The Director of Studio Operations' purview is the U.S. network with primary residency within the Cincinnati hub. Relocation assistance will be provided for the right candidate.

  • Multi-studio leadership and operational oversight (Cincinnati, Portland)
  • Full financial lifecycle ownership and accountability
  • Manage a bench of freelance talent, including photographers, stylists, and MUA's
  • Partner with Client Leadership to secure long-term commitments
  • Studio footprint optimization aligned with real estate strategy
  • Champion adoption of AI, CGI, automation, and SaaS platforms
  • Build and mentor Studio teams to scale operations efficiently
  • Coach, mentor, build, and improve a team of experts including photographers, producers, and stylists
  • Includes a leadership role in the hiring process, employee performance reviews and production training
  • Contribute to new business presentations, creating and presenting compelling content
  • Author and editor of case studies and studio POVs

Requirements

  • 10+ years studio production, specifically within photography, videography, CGI, Generative AI, and digital partnerships
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred
  • Proven experience managing studio operations
  • Demonstrated expertise in production and post-production technologies and workflows
  • Has experience managing multiple clients and projects simultaneously
  • Experience working cross-functionally across agency departments
  • Experience developing scopes of work and project plans for project budgets over $300,000

In accordance with applicable pay-transparency laws, the compensation range for this role reflects a good-faith estimate based on factors including internal equity, relevant experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, and market data. Final compensation will be determined at the time of offer. Range: $150,000-160,000 USD annually.
