Job Summary
The Burlingame School District is seeking a dynamic and collaborative Director of Student Support Services to provide strategic leadership and administrative oversight for its K-8 Special Education and Student Services programs. Serving as a key member of the Superintendent's Cabinet, the Director ensures district-wide compliance with state and federal regulations while managing a comprehensive continuum of student programs, including IEP/504 processes, Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), Counseling, Mental Health/Wellness initiatives, and Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS). This role acts as a vital liaison between school sites, families, and outside agencies to champion the academic and socio-emotional success of all students, requiring a Master's degree, a valid California Administrative Services Credential, at least three years of administrative experience, and five years of public school experience.
