KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Performance & Data Analysis
  • Develop and maintain district performance dashboards aligned with the District Strategic Plan and Board of Education priorities.
  • Analyze district, school, classroom, and student achievement data to identify strengths, gaps, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including academic achievement, attendance, graduation, chronic absenteeism, behavior, and other student success measures.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for district leadership, principals, and the Board of Education.
  • Support principals and district leaders in interpreting data to inform instructional and operational decisions.
  • Conduct program evaluations to determine the effectiveness of district initiatives and recommend improvements.

School Improvement
  • Lead and support Comprehensive Support and Improvement (CSI), Targeted Support and Improvement (TSI), and other accountability initiatives.
  • Collaborate with school leaders to develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate School Comprehensive Education Plans (SCEPs) and District Comprehensive Improvement Plans (DCIPs).
  • Assist schools in establishing measurable improvement goals and progress-monitoring systems.
  • Monitor implementation fidelity of instructional and intervention initiatives.
  • Support districtwide continuous improvement cycles using evidence-based practices.

Professional Learning & Leadership Development
  • Design and facilitate high-quality professional learning aligned with district priorities.
  • Develop differentiated professional learning pathways for teachers, instructional coaches, administrators, and support staff.
  • Provide job-embedded coaching to principals, assistant principals, instructional coaches, and teacher leaders.
  • Model effective instructional strategies and facilitate demonstration lessons in classrooms.
  • Support Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) and data team processes.
  • Coach school leaders in using data to improve instructional practices and student achievement.

Instructional Leadership
  • Conduct instructional learning walks and classroom observations with school administrators.
  • Provide feedback to school leadership teams regarding instructional trends and best practices.
  • Assist in implementing evidence-based instructional practices aligned with District curriculum.
  • Collaborate with curriculum leaders to support curriculum implementation and instructional coherence.
  • Promote equitable instructional practices that improve outcomes for all student groups.
