Director of Spa
Position Summary The Director of Spa is responsible for the overall leadership and operation of The Spa at The Setai, ensuring an exceptional luxury wellness experience consistent with The Setai and Forbes Five-Star service standards. This position oversees guest satisfaction, team performance, financial results, treatment quality, retail operations, and the overall presentation of the Spa.
Key Responsibilities - Lead daily Spa operations while maintaining exceptional luxury service standards.
- Ensure consistent delivery of The Setai and Forbes Five-Star service expectations.
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing Spa team.
- Ensure all Spa employees consistently meet The Setai's professional appearance, grooming, uniform, and personal presentation standards, reflecting Forbes Five-Star expectations.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and personally address concerns and special requests.
- Manage scheduling, labor, inventory, treatment offerings, and retail operations.
- Monitor revenue, expenses, productivity, and departmental profitability.
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness, organization, ambiance, and presentation throughout the Spa.
- Partner with other hotel departments to provide a seamless and personalized guest experience.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, sanitation, and licensing requirements.
Qualifications - Previous Spa leadership experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
- Strong leadership, financial, and operational skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to luxury service.
- Knowledge of Forbes Five-Star standards strongly preferred.
- Professional, polished, and hands-on leadership style.
