Job Description

SOSi is seeking a Director of Solutions Architecture in Hawaii to drive the technical solutions required to support ongoing innovation and evolution for the Network Engineering and Cybersecurity solutions we deliver to our customers. The Director of Solutions Architecture will serve as a Senior Technical Director of digital solutions focused on business development and capture activities across the Federal market space, with a specific focus on systems-of-systems architecture and transformation of modern IT architecture. This position will report to the company's Chief Growth Officer (CGO).

Essential Job Duties
  • Define and drive enterprise-level technical solutions and approaches to meet anticipated or actual customer requirements.
  • Lead solution design and develop key artifacts including but not limited to process diagrams and concepts of operation that guide both capture and delivery excellence.
  • Serve as a senior technical authority and maintain deep expertise of technologies and industry practices relevant to creating enterprise IT solutions, including familiarity with most of the following: network operations; service delivery models; ITIL; cybersecurity, including Zero Trust; identity management; digital trust; Risk Management Framework (RMF); authority to operate (ATO); cloud services; agile software development; DevSecOps; mobile technologies; smart devices; AI/ML; systems engineering; data visualization; data science; and data engineering.
  • Partner cross-functionally with executive stakeholders in the company's business units, Business Development Department, and Office of the Chief technology Officer to bring the best technical and business strategies to differentiate SOSi.
  • Influence early-stage opportunity shaping by leading technical engagement to government Requests for Information (RFIs) and Sources Sought notices.
  • Direct technical solution strategy development for select opportunities during the business development lifecycle, from early Qualification through Proposal submission.
  • Oversee development of compliant, compelling, and cost-effective technical solutions and proposals to meet or exceed customer requirements across technical performance, schedule and price.
  • Lead the creation and execution of technical win strategies and themes that resonate with decision makers.
  • Provide executive-level oversight of cost strategy, including Develop Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and supporting rationale.
  • Collaborate with proposal writers to articulate overarching approach and lead solution sessions, breaking out the most critical aspects of the proposal response.
  • Author and deliver strategic thought leadership content, including white papers and briefings in support of capture efforts.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and provide technical expertise to Program Managers during program start-up.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issue resolution as requested by operational business line.


Qualifications
  • Able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the Secret level.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or STEM-related degrees.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in directing technical program activities or solution development, including demonstrated success influencing revenue growth and winning new business.
  • Advanced industry-recognized certifications, such as ITIL, AWS, CompTIA, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect, Oracle Database / MySQL Administration, Cisco certs, the CISM, CEH.
  • Deep expertise with enterprise and systems architectures and advanced capabilities transition.
  • Extensive experience with applied technology within the federal, defense and intelligence domains, with a strong understanding of procurement processes, mission needs, and compliance frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to form, lead, and mentor high-performing multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration.
  • Executive-level business acumen, with the ability to take a broad and enterprise view of the business and understand linkages across strategy, processes, capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate ambiguous requirements and create specific compelling solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience in the development, drafting, and writing of technical and program management solutions in responses to competitive Government Requests for Proposals (RFPs).

Preferred Qualifications
  • Foreign language proficiency is a plus.
