Job Description
The Security Director directs and coordinates activities relating to the protection, safeguarding and security of company and client assets, employees, invitees and others. The Security Director will ensure that established goals and objectives are accomplished with prescribed priorities, time limitations and other responsibilities as assigned. Must be able to direct and supervise a large security team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS of JOB
• Design, implement and monitor security policies, procedures and programs.
• Supervise scheduling of Security Officers.
• Eliminate overtime if possible through effective scheduling techniques and coordination.
• Create and maintain a proactive approach to effective counselling and employee discipline.
• Plan, examine, analyze, evaluate and supervise security operations, inclusive of physical security assets and security personnel.
• Prepare reports and records for management team.
• Lead business meetings and give updates on projects to the client.
• Evaluate current procedures, practices and precedents for accomplishing client activities and functions relative to security.
• Identify and resolve security related problems.
• Develop preventative security programs, including the succession planning of future leaders.
• Assist in preparation of emergency management and contingency planning.
• Manage audit compliance and standardization to ensure quality control.
• All other duties, as assigned.

• Knowledge of contract security business practices, cultures, and norms.
• Able to manage security operations to include physical security, scheduling, payroll, training, etc.

• Able to interact with and influence senior management to further security program.
• Sound judgment and decision-making ability.
• Able to formulate action plans for process improvement initiatives based upon the analysis of complex data.
• Able to adapt to changes in the external environment and organization.
• Solid verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Able to accurately draw conclusions through synthesizing raw data and information.

• Serve as a positive and effective team leader.
• Computer skills; Microsoft office.
• Must be able to meet requirements and maintain a current Security Officer License in the State of Oklahoma.
• Candidate will pass a background investigation to include criminal history, credit history, valid driver's license, stable work history, personality profile test, and drug screen.

Drivers License
Over the age of 25 ( Insurance Requirement)
Non-Commission Security License (Level II)
