About the RoleThe Director of Sales, Mid-Market is responsible for driving revenue growth, leading a high-performing sales organization, and executing strategic initiatives that support Educate 360's business objectives. This role provides both tactical and strategic leadership to a team of Sales Managers, Account Executives, and Account Managers, while fostering a culture of accountability, coaching, and continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate is a results-driven sales leader with a proven track record of building successful teams, developing talent, and consistently achieving revenue targets. They will partner closely with executive leadership, sales enablement, marketing, customer success, and operations to optimize performance, improve customer outcomes, and accelerate growth within the Mid-Market segment.
This leader will be responsible for forecasting, pipeline management, territory strategy, performance management, and driving best practices across the sales organization. Success in this role requires strong business acumen, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to inspire teams to exceed expectations while delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth within the Mid-Market segment.
- Conduct regular pipeline reviews, forecasting sessions, and business planning activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve sales processes, efficiency, and overall team performance.
- Partner with Marketing and Sales Enablement to support lead generation and campaign effectiveness.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform business strategy.
- Foster a culture of accountability, professional development, and customer-focused selling.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and escalation point for key customer relationships.
Requirements
Job Requirements - Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- 7+ years of B2B sales experience, including at least 3 years leading and developing sales teams.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets and driving profitable growth.
- Experience managing front-line sales leaders, account executives, and/or account management teams.
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to inspire, motivate, coach, and develop high-performing sales professionals.
- Demonstrated success in pipeline management, forecasting, territory planning, and sales execution.
- Experience driving accountability through KPIs, activity metrics, and performance management processes.
- Exceptional coaching and talent development skills
- Ability to analyze business performance data, identify opportunities, and implement strategic action plans.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- High emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and a collaborative leadership style.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft 365, and sales reporting tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment while balancing strategic planning with day-to-day execution.
