Join our team in Charleston!
Auro Hotels is seeking an experienced Director of Sales to lead the sales and catering strategy for the hotel. Reporting to the General Manager, this leader will drive top-line revenue across rooms, food and beverage, and meeting space, while building and coaching a high-performing sales team. The Director of Sales serves as the property's sales champion, generating new business, deepening client relationships, and representing Auro Hotels' people-centric hospitality with every guest, client, and community partner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business leads for the property, developing new revenue opportunities across all market segments.
  • Recruit, train, and coach Sales Managers and Catering team members, building a high-performing, service-driven sales team.
  • Drive achievement of revenue goals across Rooms, Food & Beverage, Meeting Room Rental, and RevPAR Index in partnership with the General Manager.
  • Represent Auro Hotels professionally to clients, guests, and business partners, ensuring every transaction is handled with integrity.
  • Partner with AURO Integrated Services and the Vice President of Sales to ensure brand and company programs are properly utilized, providing regular property performance updates.
  • Foster a collaborative, team-oriented relationship with sister properties, sharing best practices across the Auro Hotels portfolio.

Experience/Education

College degree in Hotel Administration, Business, or related field required; 2-3 years hotel sales management as a Director of Sales for a Marriott or major hotel chain or management company preferred. Must be able to speak, read, and understand English.
