Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to lead our therapy department in
Traverse City, MI. This is an outstanding opportunity for a licensed
Physical Therapist (PT), Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), Occupational Therapist (OT), Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA), or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with leadership experience who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care in a post-acute/skilled nursing setting.
Responsibilities- Lead the daily operations of the rehabilitation department
- Supervise and support PTs, PTAs, OTs, OTAs, and SLPs
- Mentor clinicians while promoting quality patient outcomes
- Monitor productivity, clinical outcomes, and regulatory compliance
- Ensure compliance with Medicare, PDPM, state, and federal regulations
- Partner with facility leadership to achieve operational and clinical excellence
- Assist with staffing, scheduling, and program development
Qualifications- Licensed PT, PTA, OT, OTA, or SLP in the State of Michigan (or eligible for licensure)
- Previous rehabilitation management or leadership experience preferred
- Experience in post-acute care, skilled nursing (SNF), inpatient rehabilitation, or long-term care
- Strong knowledge of Medicare, PDPM, and rehabilitation operations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
