Full Job Description
Description

Work Location: This is an on-site position at our office at the southern edge of Sherman, TX. We are conveniently located on US-75 near the Sherman/Howe border.

Compensation: This is a salaried position with eligibility for commission-based incentives.

At Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health, our clinicians are at the heart of the care we provide to medically complex children and young adults. The Director of Recruiting leads recruiting across assigned regions or markets, guiding teams as they attract, engage, place, and support exceptional nurses who align with our mission and HALOS values while helping ensure new and existing client needs are staffed with qualified, reliable clinicians.

This is not a traditional recruiting leadership role. The position combines multi-team leadership, recruiting and staffing performance management, operational execution, coaching and development, process improvement, and cross-functional partnership. The Director supports Recruiting Team Leads and their teams in moving clinicians through the full recruitment lifecycle, from initial engagement through onboarding and successful first-shift placement.

The ideal candidate is a strategic, solutions-focused, and operationally minded leader who can partner effectively with recruiting, regional, branch, and clinical leadership to translate staffing needs and growth goals into clear recruiting priorities, remove barriers to clinician placement, and drive consistent, high-quality outcomes.

In this role, you will:
  • Lead recruiting strategy, execution, and performance across assigned regions or markets, aligning team priorities with client staffing needs and organizational growth goals.
  • Lead, coach, and develop Recruiting Team Leads and recruiting team members, fostering urgency, ownership, collaboration, professional growth, and accountability for staffing outcomes.
  • Guide recruiting leaders and their teams in moving clinicians from initial engagement through onboarding and successful first-shift placement.
  • Partner closely with recruiting, regional, branch, and clinical leadership to prioritize staffing needs, address market challenges, and remove barriers to clinician placement.
  • Monitor recruiting and staffing performance, including candidate progression, pipeline health, clinician starts, successful first shifts, team productivity, and follow-up patterns, using data to identify trends and guide improvement efforts.
  • Identify gaps or delays in recruiting, onboarding, documentation, and staffing workflows, and lead improvements to processes, systems, tools, reporting, and team resources.
  • Ensure consistent execution of recruiting processes, documentation standards, communication expectations, company procedures, and applicable compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with marketing and other internal or external partners on recruitment marketing, sourcing, outreach, candidate engagement, and staffing initiatives.
  • Model Angels of Care's HALOS values and promote a positive, collaborative, and high-accountability recruiting culture.

Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in recruiting functions
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing recruiting or staffing teams
  • Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree preferred
  • Demonstrated experience recruiting clinical and non-clinical roles within healthcare or highly regulated environments
  • Experience supporting multi-state or high-growth organizations strongly preferred
