Full Job Description
Lead the hotel's procurement strategy by ensuring every product, partnership, and purchasing decision supports our exceptional standards. As a member of the hotel leadership team, you will balance quality, value, efficiency, and innovation while building strong supplier partnerships and ensuring our operation has what it needs to deliver an exceptional experience every day.

• Lead the hotel's purchasing function at the highest level, partnering with leaders across the organization to protect luxury standards, optimize resources, and drive exceptional business results.

Key Accountabilities
• Lead the hotel's purchasing strategy and day-to-day procurement operations, ensuring the timely sourcing and delivery of products and services that meet The Peninsula's exacting standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating competitive pricing, favorable terms, quality standards, and service levels.
• Partner closely with Finance, Culinary, Rooms, Engineering, Spa, and other departments to understand business needs, anticipate requirements, and ensure purchasing decisions support operational excellence.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve efficiencies, strengthen inventory management, and maximize value without compromising quality or the guest or employee experience.
• Establish and maintain purchasing policies, procedures, controls, and best practices that support compliance, financial accountability, sustainability, and responsible procurement.

General Requirements
• 7+ years of progressive purchasing or procurement experience, preferably within a luxury hotel or high-end hospitality environment, with demonstrated success managing complex purchasing operations.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to develop trusted partnerships with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Strong financial and business acumen, including experience with budgeting, cost analysis, inventory management, purchasing controls, and contract negotiations.
• Highly organized and analytical leader with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-touch luxury environment.
• Strategic and solutions-oriented decision-maker who can identify opportunities, challenge the status quo, and implement purchasing strategies that improve efficiency, quality, and business results.
