Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Oversees a team of property managers to ensure assignments are completed on time and to specifications.
- Delegates work and assignments to team members based on expertise, work experience, and time constraints.
- Assist and enable team members to work independently by providing regular guidance and training.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Leads an interdepartmental team to complete tasks on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
- Directs department activities and functions to maintain efficiency and compliance with company policies.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
- Acts as the liaison between property managers and the Vice President of Operations.
- Work to maintain an up-to-date set of SOP's and policies within the property management department.
- Oversight over the general management, improvement, and maintenance of residential properties under management or contract.
- Collects fees, including those for monthly assessments, rentals, deposits, insurance, taxes, or other operating expenses.
- Describes and imposes guidelines, rules, and regulations to team members.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:

- General understanding of the materials, methods, and tools used to construct and repair buildings and infrastructure of properties.
- Understanding of laws, guidelines, and best practices of property management.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Experience utilizing Business Intelligence and property management reporting to manage a team to specific KPI's
- Knowledge of all key parts of maintenance and renovations for single family homes.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex SFR home maintenance issues
Education and Experience:
- College degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Real Estate, Finance, or related field required.
- Three to five years of related experience required.
- PMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications highly desirable
This role is hybrid, with required in-office days 3x a week in Southfield, Michigan.
