Director of Program & Product ManagementThe OpportunityAeroflow's Technology organization is seeking a Director of Program & Product Management to lead our Technical Product Management organization and Program Management Office. Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, this Director will serve on the Technology leadership team and connect business units, product teams, shared technology services, and executive leadership.
We think of this function as our mycelium network: the connective tissue through which priorities, context, decisions, risks, and resources move across the organization. This leader will strengthen that network so Aeroflow selects the right work, delivers it predictably, and demonstrates measurable business value without adding unnecessary bureaucracy.
- Technical Product Managers translate business strategy and customer needs into prioritized roadmaps and backlogs.
- The PMO coordinates delivery across product teams, shared services, vendors, and strategic initiatives.
- Repeatable governance makes ownership, readiness, dependencies, and risk visible.
- Clear reporting and performance measures show the value and health of Technology delivery.
Your Primary ResponsibilitiesWe are currently seeking a Director of Program & Product Management to:
- Lead, develop, and hold accountable Aeroflow's Technical Product Management and Program Management Office teams.
- Build and continuously improve the operating model connecting business units, product teams, Engineering, shared services, and executive leadership.
- Establish consistent portfolio intake, prioritization, planning, capacity alignment, dependency management, and outcome-review practices.
- Ensure Technical Product Managers preserve business context while translating priorities into clear product outcomes, roadmaps, and executable backlogs.
- Ensure the appropriate stakeholders participate throughout design and delivery, including Business Operations, UX, Engineering, Architecture, QA, Security, Privacy, Compliance, Legal, HR, Learning and Development, Finance, and Data.
- Implement repeatable, risk-based delivery phase gates with clear entry and exit criteria, required evidence, approval owners, and documented sign-off from discovery through operational transition.
- Lead cross-functional programs with clear outcomes, accountable sponsors, realistic estimates, milestones, dependencies, risks, decision rights, and operational owners.
- Establish consistent product, project, program, and portfolio reporting for Business Unit leadership and the Executive Leadership Team, with objective health definitions and escalation thresholds.
- Improve estimation quality, capacity forecasting, delivery predictability, and commitment management; surface performance issues and resource conflicts early.
- Define KPIs that demonstrate business value and delivery health, including outcomes, adoption, time to value, forecast accuracy, predictability, quality, rework, and post-release stability.
- Build a culture of ownership, candid communication, early escalation, disciplined execution, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain knowledge of and comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.

Required Qualifications- 10+ years of experience across product management, technical product management, program management, portfolio management, or related technology disciplines.
- 5+ years of people leadership experience, including responsibility for product, program, project, or portfolio teams.
- Experience operating at a Director or comparable organizational leadership level.
- Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional technology portfolios and enterprise programs.
- Experience building or materially improving product, program, portfolio, and delivery-governance practices.
- Strong understanding of software product development, engineering delivery, estimation, quality assurance, shared services, and operational readiness.
- Experience establishing executive reporting, delivery KPIs, formal approvals, and risk-escalation practices.
- Strong written, presentation, and executive communication skills.
You might also have- Experience in healthcare, DME, financial services, or another regulated industry.
- Familiarity with HIPAA, HITRUST, NIST-aligned controls, privacy, or comparable regulatory requirements.
- Experience with cloud platforms, enterprise applications, modernization, legacy systems, or hybrid infrastructure.
- Familiarity with AWS, SQL Server, Jira, DevOps, portfolio financial management, vendor management, or benefits realization.
